You can easily harass if you're good at micro managing your units with it considering it's smoke ability that'll let you disengage, it's also no slouch against infantry either, not great but definitely still useful enough to be an annoyance by picking off a unit or two from afar. Brits really lack early hard counters to armour, and the bofors is way to easy to deal with when playing against experienced players, making the AEC ideal. Originally posted by Riley:AEC is pretty underrated, and I'll be honest I barely used to use it at all in favour of the bofors, however I've come to realise how great it is. Trust me, it's much better than most people give it credit for. If you fear a Wehr player spamming out a 222 or flame half track or a Okw player throwing a Luchs before you're ready to deal with it then definitely consider one of these, they'll easily fight them back and give you battlefield control, and if you play smart your AEC will last until medium armour begins to show up, and that's when you can have it back up your cromwell or centuar. Not to mention this baby can engage every other light armoured unit and come out on top easily excluding the Puma, and still remains a threat to medium armour, easily able to out speed stugs and jagdpanzers and knock them out if they lack proper support. AEC is pretty underrated, and I'll be honest I barely used to use it at all in favour of the bofors, however I've come to realise how great it is.
